Tecmo Super Bowl 2026: Seahawks Season, Week 1 at San Francisco

No talking. No tutorials. Just one team, one season, sixteen weeks, and a quiet camera on the 8-bit field.

Welcome to the first episode of The 206 Fix on YouTube.

This is the channel I have wanted to make for a long time. The premise is simple. I play one retro sports game, one season at a time, with no commentary and no overlays. The camera sits on the field. The game speaks for itself. You get the silence I miss from the way sports used to be watched.

The first season is the 2026 Seahawks on a community-built Tecmo Super Bowl hack. The roster has been hand-rated to match the current team. The schedule has been rewritten to match the current NFL. The 8-bit visuals are unchanged because they did not need changing.

Episode 1 is Week 1, on the road at San Francisco. The 49ers were a popular preseason pick to win the NFC West this year. The 8-bit Seahawks are about to have something to say about that.

The companion writing on this site will cover the wider context, episode by episode. A piece on why 1991 still teaches football. A position-by-position look at the 2026 Seahawks. An editor’s note on why no-commentary gameplay is its own quiet genre. Read along, watch along, or pick one. The channel and the paper are designed to stand on their own.

Press start.
